Amanda Vea Vea is a 39 year old mother of four who was diagnosed with Breast, Lung, Liver, Spinal, Pelvic and bone cancers in early 2012. Being treated at The Mater public she realized the importance of the ongoing services provided by The Mater Foundation and the imperative need to find a cure for Cancer today. During Amanda's chemotherapy treatment she prefers to climb the stairs of the Mater Cancer Care Clinic in order to help keep her mental and physical health up. This determination led her to participate in the 2013 Climb for Cancer, of which Team Amanda Vea Vea was formed. Joined by her father Wayne and brothers Graham and Jamie, Amanda proudly part took in the relay team and along with supporters from as far away as the UK, Singapore, Guam and across Australia Team Amanda Vea Vea went on to win Top Fundraiser!
And 2014 is going to be bigger and better than last!!
